The opening ceremony of the School-enterprise Cooperation and Doctor Studio of Liaoning University of Technology (LUT) and Jinzhou Wonder Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (Wonder ME) - affiliate company of Wonder Group, was held at the headquarter of Wonder Group in December 10. President of LUT Wang Qi, chairman of Jinzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce Yang Hongjie and president of Wonder Group Zeng Qingdong attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
Wonder Group has worked closely with LUT since its establishment and has formed the unique school-enterprise cooperation mode, including setting up the internship base, LUT-Wonder car racing team and Wonder Scholarship, and jointly building up Modern Automobile Industry College, etc. The establishment of Doctor Studio is the further integration and innovation of the cooperation between the two sides. LUT will appoint seven teachers with doctor (master) degree from the College of Mechanical Engineering and the College of Automobile to Wonder ME to provide effective support for improving innovation ability and accelerating technological progress of the company.
New Energy Research Institute of LUT, Wonder Automobile New Technology Research Institute and Wonder ME signed strategic cooperation agreement at the ceremony and seven teachers also signed cooperation agreement with Wonder ME.
Wang Qi and Zeng Qingdong unveiled the Doctor Studio and delivered speech on behalf of LUT and the enterprise respectively. Zeng Qingdong said in his speech that the Doctor Studio will definitely provide a stage for the teachers to display their talents and abilities for sure. He believes that the technical elites of Wonder ME will overcome technical difficulties and create commercial value more than expected by cooperating with these faculties. Wang Qi expressed his hope that young teachers should actively carry out the work of technological innovation and personnel training to help the company to improve product quality and market competitiveness.
Yang Hongjie pointed out that the signing of strategic cooperation agreement has created a new model of the school-enterprise cooperation, and has set a good example for the cooperation between university and private enterprise. He also hoped that WonderGroup will enter fast track of development again with the help of the technology and talents of LUT, and LUT will cooperate with more private enterprises in Jinzhou toboost the overall revitalization of Jinzhou!
